Of Wiarton, suddenly at Grey Bruce Health Services Owen Sound on Tuesday, March 5, 2013. The former Frances Rhoda May McLay at the age of 72 years. Beloved mother of Bev Liverance (Shelly), of Aborg, Manitoba, Frances Liverance (partner Mike Cowley, of Bradford, Dwayne Liverance (Alisa), of Pike Bay, and Doug Liverance, of Butte, Saskatchewan. Cherished grandmother of Becky Marsh (partner Robert Porter), Laura (husband Ryan McFarlane), Jamie-Lyn Liverance (partner Darren Nadjiwon-Elliott), Daniel Liverance (partner Jess Ashkewe-Jones), and Jeremy Liverance; and great-grandmother of Dylan, Brayden, Jacob, Andy and Wesley. Much loved sister of Ken Rose, and Audrey Blain (partner John Monnette), both of London. Predeceased by her adoptive parents Alfred and Elizabeth Rose; brother Alec McLay; sister Helen Dubeau; sister-in-law Erica; and brothers-in-law Albert Blain and Clarence Dubeau. Rhoda will be fondly remembered for her pies, hand knit mitts and socks, and her endless cups of tea. Family invite friends to gather at the Thomas C. Whitcroft Peninsula Chapel, 272 Berford St., Wiarton (519) 534-5341 on Tuesday, March 12, 2013 for a service to celebrate Rhoda's life at 2 o'clock. Visitation for 2 hours prior to the service. Spring interment in Bayview Cemetery. Donations to the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated.
