Marnie McIntosh

1947 - 2013

Of Georgian Bluffs, suddenly at age 66, on Sunday, December 8, 2013. It is with profound sadness that the family of Marnie McIntosh (nee Alexander) announces her sudden passing at Grey Bruce Health Services in Wiarton. She was dearly loved by her husband Bill for 48 amazing years. She is sadly missed by her daughters Heather and husband Mike and Morag and her partner Jeff. Marnie loved spoiling her grandbabies Connor, Liam and Alaister. She is survived by her cherished younger brother John Alexander and his wife Judy. She was predeceased by her parents Harold and Aileen; grandson Lucan McIntosh (1993); and brother Mike Alexander and his wife Donna. Her positive spirit shone as a beacon and a guide to all who knew her. To honour her love of food and gardening the family requests that donations be made to Seeds of Diversity. Marnie was an avid gardener and supporter of Seeds of Diversity, a charity devoted to conserving rare fruit, grain and vegetable seeds for the future. The family would therefore ask that expressions of sympathy be expressed by way of donations to Seeds of Diversity earmarked for their Seed Catalogue Inventory project. The contact information is as follows at www.seeds.ca or 1-866-509-7333. The family have organized a private gathering at the Thomas C. Whitcroft Peninsula Chapel, 272 Berford St., Wiarton (519) 534-5341.
It has been our honour to serve this family
