1941 - 2018

Of Wiarton, peacefully at Summit Place on Wednesday May 9, 2018. Wilmer “Will” Norman Hepburn at the age of 77 years. Loving husband and best friend to Betty (nee Byers) for 55 years. Beloved father of Richard and his wife Sherry, and Katherine, all of Owen Sound. Cherished grandfather of Brandon (wife Brittney), Mikkala, Rob (fiancee Stephanie), Matthew (partner Tamara), and Michelle; and great-grandfather of Cylus, and one due in July. Sadly missed by his sister-in-law Irene (Elmer Good), of Drayton; and his nieces, nephews and many friends. Predeceased by parents, Elgin and Vera; sister Muriel Loker; brother-in-law Ronald Byers; and special family member, Brenda Quiquero. Will served his community as an officer of the RCMP and OPP, and Justice of the Peace for Ontario. Locally, Will and Betty owned the Mile Inn and Petro Canada Home Heating. Within the community, Will belonged to the Royal Canadian Legion Br. 208 Wiarton, Cedar Lodge #396, Amabel Chapter of Royal Arch Masons, Georgian Chapter of the Eastern Star, and the Ramoca Shrine Club. Friends are invited to gather with family for visitation at the Thomas C. Whitcroft Peninsula Chapel, 272 Berford, Wiarton (519) 534-5341 on Tuesday May 15, 2018 from 7-9 PM, where a service to celebrate Will’s life will be conducted on Wednesday at 1 o’clock. Visiting one hour prior to service. On Tuesday evening Members of Cedar Lodge #396 will conduct a Masonic Memorial Service at 6:30 PM, and members of RCL Br. #208 Wiarton will conduct a Legion Service at 6:45PM.
