Passed
away peacefully on Monday, January 23, 2023 at Grey Bruce Health Services
Wiarton. He is predeceased by his beautiful wife Inge Wilke (2021),
and survived by his children, Christian Wilke, and grandsons Quinn and
Hunter, Stephanie Mollet and son-in-law Trent and grandsons Clyde and
Gavyn, and Jennifer Bonadonna and son-in-law Charles. He is also survived
by his 4 siblings, Roswitha, Frank, Ute, and Elke. Armin had a colourful
life, coming from Germany to Canada, working as a lumberjack, typewriter
repairman, and a paint specialist, then meeting and falling in love
with his bride of 52 years. They started a family in Toronto before
moving up to the beautiful Georgian Bay area to enjoy the rest of his
life there. Armin was generous, intelligent, honest, curious, well read,
loyal, affectionate, funny, hardworking, very family oriented and an
excellent caregiver to his wife for many years. Armin became one of
Jehovah’s Witnesses in his 30s, and believed in the hope for the
future as laid out in the bible. “I am the resurrection and the
life. The one who exercises faith in me, even thought he dies, will
come to life.” (John 11:23-25) “The righteous will possess
the earth, and they will live forever on it.” (Psalm 37:29) He
will be greatly missed, but we are so grateful to know that we will
see him again. A Zoom Memorial Service will take place on Saturday,
March 4th, at 1pm. Zoom ID#: 589 564 9372 Passcode:
