We are very sorry to announce that our mom Emma Jean Sawatzky passed away suddenly at home Jan 28, 2023 at the age of 74 years. She is survived by her 3 sons, Allan, Kenny and Robby; her brother Pat Sayeau (Shirley), of Cardinal; sisters-in-law Lorna Sayeau and Louise Sayeau; and many relatives and friends on her husband Hank’s side of the family. Emma Jean is predeceased by her parents, Art and Peggy (nee Poland) Sayeau; husband Hank Sawatzky; infant daughter, Tammy Lynn; brothers Jim Sayeau, Stephen Sayeau, Arthur Charles Sayeau “PeeWee” as a young child; and sister, Patricia in infancy. She was a lovely lady, kind and helpful to all her family and friends…Emma Jean will be missed by all who knew her. Emma Jean’s family invite friends to join with them for a Celebration of Life Service at the Thomas C. Whitcroft Peninsula Chapel, Wiarton (519) 534-5341 on Monday February 6, 2023 at 1:00 o’clock, with visitation from 11-1 PM. Spring interment in Bayview Cemetery, Wiarton.
