Gaudreau, Marc
It is with profound sadness and heavy heart that the family of Marc
Joseph Paul-Emile Gaudreau announces his unexpected passing on August
7, 2015.
Marc was born on January 22, 1964. Growing up in Hornpayne, ON, he attended
Holy Name of Jesus Catholic School and then Hornpayne High School. Upon
graduating from high school he entered the work force, starting with
CN Rail, Haavaldsrud, and the Ministry of Transportation.
In 1988 he met the love of this life, Bobbie and her 3 children, and
he fell in love with all 4 of them. Then in 1989 he got a transfer and
they moved to Nipigon as a family. June 29, 1991 he and Bobbie married
with their children at their side. Then in 1994 their family was completed
when they became a family of 6, welcoming a beautiful baby girl.
While in Nipigon, Marc did many things besides working for the Ministry.
He drove bus for the school board, worked as a volunteer ambulance attendant
and the auxiliary police force. While doing these things he made many
lifelong friends.
In 2001, Marc transferred to Thunder Bay, where he lived till his passing.
In 2005 he started working for the City of Thunder Bay Sanitation Department,
then in 2010 moving to where his passion was, to the Roads Department.
Marc lived every day to the fullest with a smile on his face. His loud
voice and contagious laugh could be heard from everywhere. He had many
passions in life, weight lifting, motor bikes, playing jokes on his
friends but especially his family. He was so very proud of his wife
and children but most of all he was proud of his grandchildren. God
had blessed him with 5 grandchildren that had made his life perfect.
It was when he was with them he was the happiest.
Marc was welcomed into heaven by his two best friends David Rees, Serge
Berube and his brother in laws Chaps (Andre Chaput) & Bill Foley.
He is survived by his wife Bobbie, his son A.J (Kelly), and his daughters
Tara (Rodney), Shannon (James) and Dailyn (Rob). His pride and joy,
his grandchildren, Abby, Mason, Jordan, Pearson and Kohen. His parents
Adrienne and Camille, siblings Michel (Collette), Monique (Dan), Madeleine,
Laurie (Jack). His in laws Robert and Marjorie Abbott. His brother in
law Michael (Nadine), sister in law Margaret (Emmanuel), and numerous
nieces and nephews.

of all Angels Anglican Church on Saturday August 22, 2015 at 11:00 am.
