Proud mother of Mark Jones (Shantel), Tina (Doug Hannah), Grant Jones (Alyssa), Todd Jones (Arwen), Terry King, Frank Whitney (Diane), and Sheila Robson. Cherished grandma to Amanda Pacheco (Randy), Jody Jones, Jason Jones (Katherine), Devin Jones, Shondra Jones, Shannon Chapman (Adrian) Nimki Jones, Wasmo Jones, Josh Jones (Amy), Carla Jones, Mary Deleary (Blu), Blythe Keeshig, April Star Jones, Autumn Jones; great-grandma of 27; and great-great-grandma to 1 grandson. Vera gained significant life changes from the Grandmother Teachings, sacred ceremonies, pipe ceremonies, drumming, dancing, and sacred fires on the beach. Her spirit is powerful and strong, then and now. Her body is now ashes, but not her spirit. If we learn to give a good life, we are the good life.
